About Objection Noted
Every argument deserves a cross-examination.
I'm D.R. Drake, a criminal justice student on the long road to law school. I've spent a lot of hours reading case law, writing papers and forming opinions that a grade alone doesn't settle. A professor reads them, writes a letter at the top and hands them back. That's not enough for me.
So this is where my papers come to be argued with.
Each article here started as academic work on qualified immunity, the Fourth Amendment, policing, criminal procedure and the parts of the justice system that don't get talked about honestly enough. I've reworked them for real readers, but the arguments are the same ones I'd defend in a classroom.
Here's the deal: I'll make my case and cite my sources. If you think I'm wrong, say so. Tell me where the reasoning breaks, which case I missed or what I'm not seeing. A good objection is worth more to me than a hundred agreements.
I'm not a lawyer yet, and nothing here is legal advice. It's an argument, and you're welcome to object.
Objection noted. Now let's hear yours.
